Everyone is welcome at Nottingham Playhouse, and we endeavour to make our shows readily available through a range of options and accessible performances.

Here you’ll find more information about the BSL interpreted, captioned, audio described, relaxed and dementia friendly performances we programme for our main stage Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company productions, as well as information for wheelchair users and those who require level access.

Good to Know:

  • For all Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company productions, customers who need a companion to enable their visit receive their second ticket free of charge. Please book via the Box Office on 0115 9419419.
  • Assistance Dogs are always welcome – please advise our Box Office when booking.
  • A limited number of parking spaces are available to Blue Badge Holders on North Circus Street and East Circus Street, both directly outside the Playhouse.
  • Booking for accessible performances is available online by selecting the relevant performance in the What’s On, or by calling our Box Office on 0115 9419 419. We hope to be adding booking for wheelchair spaces online within the coming weeks too, but for now, please call Box Office on 0115 9419419 to book.
  • Publications are available in alternative formats on request, and large print show programmes for Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company productions (where programmes are available) can be obtained from the Box Office.
