Nottingham Playhouse is located on Wellington Circus, just off Derby Road near St Barnabas’ Cathedral and a 5-10 minute walk from Old Market Square.

Public Transport

We are a 5-10 minute walk from Old Market Square bus stops and a 15 minute walk from Victoria Bus Station.

Nottingham City Transport offers a wide range of travel options, such as Grouprider for families.

Mobile tickets can be purchased in advance and need to be activated prior to boarding our bus. These tickets only cover NCT buses in Nottingham.

Zigzag tickets offer savings when you travel on any Trent Barton bus after 9am.

Nottingham’s tram service runs every 7 to 15 minutes. The nearest tram stops are Old Market Square and Royal Centre, both a 5-10 minute walk away from us.

There is cashless on street parking nearby, as well as in the NCP car parks nearby.

Parking with NCP

If you are parking at the NCP Mount Street or St James Street you can validate your parking by downloading the NCP app. Once you have downloaded the app, you will need to set up an account. On opening the app, enter the Promo Code which you can find in your Nottingham Playhouse order confirmation email. Full details of how to do this are on the NCP website.  This pricing is not valid on pre-paid car parking.
