Whatever your previous experience or interests, we offer social, creative and enjoyable participation programmes for people over the age of 50.
We have courses in Creative Writing, Dance, Drama and more, all in a relaxed and social setting.
All courses run during school term times and there are no sessions during half terms.
Can I try it first?
Yes, we offer a taster session for those who would like to try before they buy (subject to availability). You can register your interest for a taster session by completing the form using the button below and you will receive an email once places are available for booking.

Encore session for ages 50+ A chance to explore some of the greatest plays ever written, in a friendly and sociable group.

Dance Performance classes focus on taught exercises and repertory, as well as creative and improvised elements, designed to keep bodies and minds active and engaged.
Playhouse Performers Ensemble
For ages 18+ Learn new skills in acting, directing and exploring plays in a fun and supportive environment.
Nottingham Playhouse Choir
Join the Nottingham Playhouse Choir – an informal and enjoyable new group open to everyone who wants to meet up, sing and have fun.
Playhouse Art Club
For ages 18+ Everyone is welcome to come along to these new relaxed art sessions which will have a strong focus on drawing.
Writer’s Room
We will write together, share our work, talk about the writing process, read other writers and generally have fun.
