Have you ever wondered what influences the design of a production? Why an actor plays a character a certain way or what prompted the writer to make the play in the first instance? Then this is the activity for you! 

Playhouse Insights is a chance for anyone who loves theatre to get closer to the exciting behind the scenes world of Nottingham Playhouse Productions by hearing from the cast and creatives. These events give time to explore the themes of productions with the very people making them – as well as providing a perfect opportunity to ask the questions you really want answers to!

Our dates this year are: 

  • 08/09/26 Q&A session with cast or creatives from Till the Stars Come Down. 
  • 08/12/26 Q&A session with cast including John Elkington from Aladdin, Nottingham Playhouse’s famous pantomime. 
  • 09/03/27 Q&A session with cast or creatives from a future Nottingham Playhouse production. (Watch this space!) 
  • 08/06/27 Q&A session with cast or creatives from a future Nottingham Playhouse production. (Watch this space!)
