Alongside our production Punch, we will be offering a series of workshops for schools and groups to support their visit to see the show.
The workshop packages are as follows, with prices available through expression of interest:
Workshop One – Drama Workshop for up to 30 students with one facilitator
Cost: £200+ VAT for one 90 minute workshop. £350+ VAT for two 90 minute workshops. Includes comprehensive resource pack to support the visit.
Follow up to watching Punch at Nottingham Playhouse: A practical session exploring the impact of making considered choices and the importance of communication as an answer to the issues of gang culture and toxic masculinity. Using sections of script and moments from the play, this workshop takes the power of this true story to explore the nature of forgiveness and the different choices that can be made.
Workshop Two – Interactive Workshop for up to 100 students with two actors
Cost: £350+VAT for one 75 minute session. £600+ VAT for two 75 minute sessions. Includes comprehensive resource pack to support the visit.
A large-group session presenting rehearsed extracts, facilitated discussion and other interactive elements to explore the themes in Punch at Nottingham Playhouse. The impact of making considered choices and the importance of communication as an answer to the issues of gang culture and toxic masculinity will be at the heart of the workshop. Using sections of script and moments from the play, this workshop takes the power of this true story to explore the nature of forgiveness and the different choices that can be made.

Other Activities
During the run of Punch, we will also be hosting discussions after the show as a part of the Talking Circles project. These discussions will be led by members of the community who have connections to the the themes of the show, including youth crime, toxic masculinity, and education. These events will be free to attend for those who have purchased a ticket to the show.
