1. Introduction
1.1 The “Love Your Local Theatre” promotion (the “Promotion”) is administered by the UK Theatre Association (“UK Theatre”) and will be available at selected venues (“Participating Venue(s)”) which are UK Theatre Association members. The full list of Participating Venues is available at LoveYourLocalTheatre.com.
1.2 The promoter of the promotion (the “Promoter”) for the purposes of productions at Nottingham Playhouse is: Nottingham Playhouse, Wellington Circus, Nottingham, NG1 5AF. To contact the Promoter with any questions or complaints in connection with the Promotion, participating performances or ticket purchases under the Promotion please contact: boxoffice@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk.
1.3 The Promoter’s standard ticket booking terms and conditions also apply to tickets purchased under the promotion. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the provisions of these promotion terms and conditions and the Promoter’s standard ticket booking terms and conditions, the provisions of these promotion terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of that inconsistency or conflict.
2. Promotion Period
2.1 The Promotion shall run from 10.00am on 1 February 2022 to 6.00 pm on 31 March 2022 (the “Promotion Period”).
2.2 Tickets for selected performances at Participating Venues can be purchased at any time during the Promotion Period subject to the Participating Venue’s box office hours or availability of its online booking system. Promotion tickets will not be available for purchase after the closing date
(6.00pm on 31 March 2022).
2.3 Tickets purchased during the Promotion Period must be for performances which take place between 1 March 2022 and 31 March 2022.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The Promotion is open to customers who purchase a full price ticket for a selected performance at a Participating Venue during the Promotion Period. If the ticket holder presents proof of purchase of a National Lottery game (purchased in accordance with National Lottery Rules) along with the ticket for that selected performance, they will be entitled to one free ticket for that selected performance.
3.2 Any National Lottery game (including draw-based games, National Lottery Scratchcards and online Instant Win Games) purchased in-store, online or via the National Lottery app may be used for the Promotion. Proof of purchase is required and can be presented as either a physical National Lottery ticket or Scratchcard or by showing a National Lottery game played online or on the National Lottery app.
3.3 National Lottery players must be 18+ and a UK resident. There is no age restriction on who may attend the performance using the benefit of the free ticket, provided that they accompany the purchasing customer.
3.4 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of a customer’s eligibility to purchase Promotion tickets is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Promotion
4.1 The Promotion is only available:
(a) for selected performances running 1 March 2022 – 31 March 2022 (inclusive);
(b) for selected ticket prices for those performances; and
(c) at selected venues outside of London.
4.2 Tickets purchased as part of the Promotion are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.
4.3 The maximum number of pairs of tickets (one full price ticket and one free ticket per pair) available per eligible customer per production under the Promotion is two. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel any tickets booked in excess of this number, without prior notice, unless the booking of an excess was due to the Promoter’s error. Eligible customers may book for multiple productions.
4.4 Subject to the Promoter’s standard ticket booking terms and conditions, tickets purchased under the Promotion are non-exchangeable, nontransferable and no cash alternative is offered.
4.5 In the event that the performance is cancelled by the Promoter, the Promoter’s standard ticket booking terms and conditions apply in respect of full price tickets purchased under the Promotion, but the customer acknowledges that the free ticket
will be cancelled and is not capable of being redeemed against any future performances.
5. General
5.1 Customers are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon purchase of Promotion tickets. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the Promotion tickets, or to refuse entry to the relevant performance, to anyone in breach of these
terms and conditions.
5.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control. The Promoter may cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion for any other reason provided it uses reasonable endeavours to notify customers of any cancellation, suspension or amendment reasonably in advance.
5.3 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate customers or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Promotion tickets except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The customer’s statutory rights are not affected.
5.4 Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Notice.
5.5 These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the Promoter and the customer each irrevocably agree to submit all disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
