The Nottingham Playhouse Annual Review is an opportunity to look back in celebration of the previous financial year. It also allows us to highlight the huge team of people who are involved in creating the work, engaging with the community and supporting local artists.
From Tom Wright’s radically reimagined story, The Real and Imagined History of the Elephant Man, to the return of Mark Gatiss’ hugely successful A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story to the world premiere stage adaptation of Minority Report and Lucy’s Kirkwood’s gripping drama, The Children, it was a year of diverse produced work.
The community opportunities offered by our Participation team and our artist development programme, Amplify, continued to grow, at a time when people’s need to express themselves and feel welcome has never been more important.
A huge thank you to our audiences, Members, sponsors, board, staff and creatives. It is only through your support that we can continue to deliver world-class theatre in Nottingham.
