Speak Easy spoken word collective gives young and emerging artists an opportunity to join a safe and supportive place where they can express themselves and share their work.
The collective itself is for writers aged 15-25 and brings together the emerging spoken word talent of Nottingham to facilitate their development as creatives by providing them with performance opportunities, masterclasses with guest artists, creative writing workshops, and much more!
As well as this Speak Easy facilitates bi- monthly open mic events here at Nottingham Playhouse- You don’t need to be a part of the Collective to come along to a Speak Easy open mic night. Just make sure to register your FREE place for each date and join an open and inclusive poetry & spoken word space, whether you are looking to perform or just want to listen to some incredible creative talent.
