Shine is Nottingham Playhouse's community youth theatre network.

This year long programme develops drama, social and life skills, explores a broad range of dramatical techniques and is a whole lot of fun!

2025/26 Term Dates

Autumn 2025 Term Dates: 17th September – 3rd December. (except Half Term on 22nd October and 29th October.)

Spring 2026 Term Dates: 14th January – 25th March. (except Half Term on 18th February.)

Summer 2026 Term Dates: 22nd April – 1st July. (except Half Term on 27th May.)

How to Book

Current Shine bookers will have been sent a promocode, allowing you to book online using the Book Now button on this page, or via our Box Office. If you have not received this code, please email shine@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk. Please ignore the date shown on the Book Now page – you will have access to workshops for the entire academic year.

This group is specifically targeted at residents of Mansfield and those connected to it. To book on please email shine@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk, you may be asked to provide some evidence to show eligibility to join this geographically targeted provision.
