Our Infant Young Company is for children in school years 1 to 3. Sessions are playful, imaginative, experimental and fun.
Sessions are designed to stimulate creative play with lots of games, teamwork, skills building and loads of fun. We use our bodies and voices to learn how to tell stories to each other and with each other. The emphasis is not on performance at this age but in allowing young people to be creative and curious in a safe and fun environment.
Have additional access needs? Find out how we can support you here or email participation@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk.
Please note that parents do not stay in the sessions. Please ensure all young people are collected promptly at the end of the session.
Infant Young Company (Sky) is led by Tia Elvidge.
Tia is a facilitator and theatre maker specialising in making work with young people and people with additional needs. Having fun and developing skills whilst building confidence are priorities to Tia and her work. She is passionate about introducing young people playful techniques like Commedia dell’arte, improvisation and clowning, and forming ensembles to creatively tell a story.
