Our Pioneers and Innovators programme is a day of events for women** from the global ethnic majority* to take part in a workshop, networking and discussions with creative leaders from across the industry.

About the Facilitators

Rastarella Falade is the founder of Cultural Vibrations (Unity Through Music) established in 2009 and Nottingham Global Roots Festival (2015).
Rastarella is a grassroots event manager & predominantly a Global Ethnic Majority music promoter. She is also a radio presenter on 97.5 Kemet Fm, a creative marketing consultant and an empowerment speaker. Rastarella is the current Global Roots Music Programmer at Nottingham Trent University.

Beccy D’Souza is the current Artist Development Producer at Nottingham Playhouse.
With 20 years experience working in theatre, primarily as a freelance actor and producer, Beccy joined Nottingham Playhouse in 2023, managing and curating artist development opportunities through Amplify, Nottingham Playhouse’s professional artist network for theatre makers with a connection to the Midlands. She was a founder member of The Party Somewhere Else Collective. She was also part of the Freelance Task Force in 2020, is an alumni of Birmingham School of Acting, Stage One’s Bridge The Gap and Edinburgh Fringe’s Emerging Producers and is currently taking part in Transforming Governance, a governance training programme with New Art Exchange.
