Passing the Torch: Giles Croft and Adam Penford in conversation

It’s been 18 years since Giles Croft became Artistic Director of Nottingham Playhouse, and it’s been over a year since he announced he would be stepping down from the role. His successor Adam Penford began full-time at the Playhouse in July of this year, and has had the unique opportunity to work alongside Giles during the handover period.

Here, before Giles departs the executive office for the last time, our two Artistic Directors sit down for a catch-up about the past, the present, and what the future holds for Nottingham Playhouse.
