NEWS: Nottingham Playhouse receives 9 Nominations in the WhatsOnStage Awards 2024

The 25th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards nominations were announced on 5 December 2024.

Nottingham Playhouse is thrilled to feature in 9 of them for productions during the past year.  Our nominations are:

• Best Regional Production – Dear Evan Hansen
• Best Musical Revival  – Dear Evan Hansen
• Best New Play – Punch by James Graham
• Best Supporting Performer in a Play – Julie Hesmondhalgh for Punch
• Best Lighting Design – Jessica Hung Han Yun, Minority Report
• Best Sound Design – Nicola T Chang , Minority Report
• Best Video Design – Tal Rasnor, Minority Report
• Best Play Revival – A Raisin in the Sun, a co-production with Headlong, Leeds Playhouse and Lyric Hammersmith Theatre
• Best Casting Direction – Lotte Hines – A Raisin in the Sun, a co-production with Headlong, Leeds Playhouse and Lyric Hammersmith Theatre

The Awards are decided by the public, so you can vote now to show your support for our wonderful creatives and cast.

The winners will be crowned at a special concert ceremony on Sunday 9 February 2025, at The London Palladium.
