NEWS: Costume Sale attracts visitors from across the UK and raises over £6000 for Nottingham Playhouse Trust

Saturday 25 June saw the return of Nottingham Playhouse’s Costume Sale, and collectors, style seekers and bargain hunters arrived to queue up from 9.30am to explore the items from the theatre’s stores. Hosted in our new flexible event space, Company, the sale attracted a huge variety of visitors, from local performers to enthusiasts (including one pair who set off from Bristol at 5.30am). We are delighted that the pieces on sale have been given a fresh lease of life by their new owners.

The costume sale raised an incredible £6185.50 in total, all proceeds of which will be donated to Nottingham Playhouse Trust, allowing us to continue to create life-changing experiences for all members of our community. A sincere thank you to all who attended the sale and supported us with their purchases.
