Nottingham Playhouse is seeking a Stage Manager on the Book to join the team on THE LITTLE MERMAID at Nottingham Playhouse and on tour.
Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Stage Manager on the book in rehearsals, during performances in Nottingham Playhouse’s Neville Studio in December 2025 and on a small-scale tour of schools and community venues in January 2026.
Specially created for children ages 3–8, our brand-new version of THE LITTLE MERMAID is full of charming music, creative captioning and plenty of opportunities for young audiences to join in.

Contract Dates: w/c 3 November 2025 – 31 January 2026
Contract Type: ITC/Equity contract for Stage Managers
Fee: £625.00 per week. Any part-weeks worked will be paid pro rata based on a 6-day working week.
Holiday: Holiday may not be taken other than holiday days allocated by the Producer.
Travel: If local (based within 25 miles of Nottingham Playhouse) – Travel costs over £33.34 but no more than £138.65 per week for rehearsal and performance dates shall be repaid upon submission of invoices and receipts.
If relocating to Nottingham for the contract – you will be paid a weekly living away allowance of £452.03 per week in accordance with prevailing ITC/Equity rates, plus standard class rail fare from your base to Nottingham at the start and end of the contract.
You will be responsible for driving the company van to locations on tour. A clean driving license is required.

There will be one Stage Manager on Book for this production.
