Nottingham Playhouse is a leading centre for the performing arts, community engagement and innovative event programming. It currently encompasses performance spaces, bars and meeting rooms with plans to expand its site.
We are seeking an Events and Commercial Manager with an entrepreneurial approach and great people skills to develop and build our commercial operation. The broad scope is to optimise profitability from secondary activities including event hires, our bars, merchandising, confectionary and lettings, with a focus on identifying new users in the busy Playhouse building and its expanding portfolio. Working with the whole Playhouse team, this role combines leading on business and event development with overseeing the delivery and profitability of the existing offer.
The role is offered as a permanent, full-time contract.
