Whether you work in the arts, culture or media or in any role that has a creative element, join us for an evening of connecting, conversation and laughs.
We’re bringing together a wide variety of people with the aim of encouraging new friendships, collaboration, sharing resources and supporting South Asian Creatives.
This laid back evening will kick off with informal chats, snacks and short talks and we’ll be ending the night watching some fantastic comedy.
What to expect:
Meet us downstairs at Nottingham Playhouse in Company Bar. Grab a drink, chat to your hosts and be introduced to some new people.
At 7pm we’ll head upstairs to the Neville Studio to hear from local South Asian creatives and end the night with a laugh thanks to stand up from Rahul Somia (Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year nominee) and Tej Dhutia (BBC3, BBC Asian Network).
Speakers:
Roo Dhissou – Artist and Researcher
Pardeep Singh Nijjar – Writer
Geeta Pendse – Journalist and Presenter
