Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence . . . and special powers! Though unloved by cruel parents Matilda makes an impression on her kind schoolteacher Miss Honey. School life isn’t plain sailing, especially as the mean headmistress Miss Trunchbull hates children and loves punishment. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts and could just be the school pupils saving grace!
For one week a group of young people will work together as a company to perfect the show and become the best bunch of ‘Revolting Children’ Nottingham Playhouse has ever seen.
