Join Katie Redford, writer of Tapped in this is a creative workshop designed to help get those creative juices flowing. Sometimes the hardest part is showing up and getting a pen to paper / finger on keyboard, so we’ll explore a range of exercises that help with that, whilst also looking at character development, overcoming those writing blocks and reawakening your creative self.
About Katie Redford
Katie is an actress and writer from Nottingham. She is a BAFTA Rocliffe TV Comedy winner and was also on the BBC Comedy Writersroom & Soho Theatre Writers Lab. Her short film Ghosted starring Alison Steadman, which she co-wrote, produced & performed in, was supported by BFI Network and Film Hub Midlands. Her debut drama for BBC radio 4 Yellow Lips which she also plays the lead in, was nominated for The Imison Award. Tapped is her debut play for the stage which she received an Offie nomination for for Most Promising Playwright. She is currently listed on the BBC New Talent Hot List.
