This workshop will explore what practical steps you can take to make your production process more accessible.

This will include adaptations for rehearsals & backstage, Access to Work, access riders, wardrobe and set design.

What should we as producers and production managers think about? What restrictions do we have, and how can we work within these? How can we be more expansive and welcoming for disabled people?

Miranda has been working as a producer in Sheffield for the past decade, and is now the Producer at Theatre Deli Sheffield. She was the founder of the Local Theatre pop-up venue, and has recently completed a Stage One producer placement at Sheffield Theatres. Her practice is informed by her experiences as a queer disabled woman, and she aims to centre care and generosity in all her work.
