Are you aged 16 to 25? Are you passionate about theatre and the creative industries? Do you want to make change happen and be a voice for young people?

Then come and be part of Nottingham Playhouse’s first ever Youth Board.

At Nottingham Playhouse we believe in a bright and exciting future for arts venues and the creative industries. But we need you to help us.

We believe that to stay relevant, cutting edge and innovative, it is crucial to have young voices at the heart of all we do.

We want young people to become an even greater part of our DNA here and become advocates for what we do – bringing energy, a fresh perspective and current views.

Our Youth Board will work with our Board of Trustees, in a two-way conversation, to open up discussions on how to make Nottingham Playhouse a more inclusive and enjoyable place for young people.

We want to appoint Youth Board members with a variety of skills and interests and you don’t have to have previous experience in theatre and the arts.

If you want to be involved then you will need to apply and answer three questions about you, your passions and what matters to you. We want you to answer these questions however you feel most comfortable – you could film a video, compose a poem or write your answers – in whatever way you feel you can best articulate your thoughts.

So what are you waiting for?  Get creative, get involved in being the change and help us make Nottingham Playhouse a place where you want to be.
