In partnership with Inspire, we create brand-new work for early years children which tours Nottinghamshire county libraries. Currently, we are performing original devised work as part of The Magical Major Oak series.

2-4 year olds (and their grown-ups) are transported to the legendary land of the Magical Major Oak in immersive and multi-sensory storytelling experiences. Featuring inspiring storytelling and a host of woodland friends to meet, the shows and workshops which are part of this Magical Major Oak series are enchanting interactive adventures that spark the imagination and act as a perfect introduction for early years into the world of theatre.

The Magical Major Oak project has previously consisted of both shows and Magical Missions, a series of workshops designed to unleash your child’s imagination and stimulate the senses by using music, movement, puppetry, crafting and sensory play.

Currently we are creating The Magical Major Oak: Winter and the Sparkling Snow, which tours in November 2024. You can book tickets here on the Inspire Libraries website.

Reviews

“Spectacular event! Talented performers, really engaging – my son loved it and he’s really wriggly and easily distracted normally!”
“We loved the interactive nature of the performance, the music and the age range, the performance was aimed at! Lovely to have such quality brought to a local venue and for it to be accessible to all”
