What will I learn?
The sessions are about building confidence, wellbeing and expression through drama games and improvisations. We use drama as a way to allow our minds to be creative and free, learning from one another, with no obligation to learn lines.
Who is the course for?
Anyone who wants to have a go at drama, no previous experience is necessary.
We believe that theatre should be for everyone and always ensure our building and sessions are accessible to all participants, removing any barriers to participation. Find out more about Access at Nottingham Playhouse here and please tell us if there is anything further we can do to ensure our sessions are accessible for you. You can get in touch at participation@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk.
Do I need to bring anything?
All you’ll need is a sense of humour and a big smile.
Are there any additional costs?
Everything is included in the course price, any additional materials will be provided by Nottingham Playhouse.
Can I try it first?
Yes, we offer a taster session for those who would like to try before they buy (subject to availability). You can register your interest for a taster session by emailing participation@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk and you will receive an email once places are available for booking.
