The National Theatre’s Young Technicians programme offers 13-19-year-olds across the country a FREE chance to develop practical skills and learn about the variety of backstage and off-stage roles that exist within theatre. Online sessions are delivered by leading industry professionals from the National Theatre, with participants being sent kit boxes to practice the skills they are learning. The 11-week online programme covers lighting, staging, sound and video from Tuesday 4 February. Nottingham Playhouse’s cohort will then attend practical workshop sessions at Nottingham Playhouse on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th April.
Open Day
Nottingham Playhouse is holding a free open day on Saturday 9 November, from 10am-2pm, for anyone who wants to find out more about the Young Technicians programme.
