Give your students the opportunity to see what it’s like behind the scenes of Nottingham Playhouse, to understand the various roles in theatre and see our teams at work.

Led by one of our Participation team, students will hear from our professionals about what they do day-to-day and how their role contributes towards our productions. Everything you see on-stage in a Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company production has usually been on-site at the theatre. You’ll see our paint shop, wardrobe and props departments, as well as what it’s like to be on our main stage.

Your young people will all be given one of our specially designed treasure-hunt worksheets to complete as they walk around the backstage areas, and each tour also includes time for questions and answers at the end.

Capacity: Up to 25 participants per tour (including teachers)
Duration: 50 minutes (30 minute tour, 20 minute Q&A)
Price: £5 per person for groups of up to 10 people (including teachers), £3 per person for groups of up to 25 people (including teachers)
