NEWS: A tribute to Garry Robson

29 July 2024

All the staff at Nottingham Playhouse are very sad to hear of the passing of Garry Robson. Garry was a superb actor and wonderful human being, and will be much missed.

Garry was an award-winning Disabled writer, actor and director and appeared at Nottingham Playhouse many times. Most recently in the Ramps on the Moon productions of Our Country’s Good and Tommy, and as a multitude of characters in Pam Gem’s Piaf in 2021, directed by Adam Penford.

Garry was a regular guest at our press nights, had a soft spot for our panto and was a great supporter of fellow artists, young and old.

Our condolences go to his family and friends.
