Marketing Officer (Audience Development)

We are seeking a passionate and engaging marketer to promote the work of Nottingham Playhouse to new audiences and lead on coordinating community engagement events.

With a focus on Audience Development, you will implement marketing campaigns for activities and programmes targeted at new audiences, and cultivate positive relationships with charities, schools and other partner organisations. You will champion the needs of individuals and groups who are not regular theatre attendees and support the growth of key Nottingham Playhouse audience development schemes.

Able to balance the creative with the analytical, you will produce insights on arts, cultural and social initiatives and educational priorities, to inform Nottingham Playhouse’s programming and scheduling from an audience development perspective.

The role will suit an enthusiastic communicator with superb interpersonal and organisational skills, and a passion for introducing Nottingham Playhouse’s award-winning productions and ground-breaking participation programme to new audiences.

The role of Marketing Officer (Audience Development) is offered as a permanent, full-time contract (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday). This is a wide-ranging job and we will provide on-going support, such as training, to enable the post holder to fulfil all aspects of the job.
