Head of Lighting & Video

Following a restructuring of the Production Departments, Nottingham Playhouse is seeking an outstanding individual with significant experience of theatre lighting and video to lead our Lighting & Video team.

The Head of Lighting & Video will play a key part in realising Nottingham Playhouse productions including main-stage productions, studio productions, co-productions, touring and Participation productions. They will ensure the Lighting & Video team deliver the highest standards of support to enable the creative process, working closely with creative teams to achieve their vision to the highest artistic and technical standards.

The role will suit someone with proven lighting and video experience in a producing theatre, excellent project management skills, including managing budgets and people. They will be highly organised, personable and have excellent interpersonal abilities.
