Equity
For Equity members, there is the Equity Mental Health and Wellbeing service. There’s a manned phone line (you need your Equity membership number) and signposting on their website to other services.
Industry Minds
Industryminds.co.uk offer low cost and free counselling to individuals in the creative arts industries and have a good range of other services signposted on their website.
Art Minds
Artminds.co.uk is also great for signposting to further support including self help resources and wider mental health services.
Wellbeing in the Arts
Launched in January 2023, Wellbeing in the Arts offers a low cost counselling service.
Freelancers Make Theatre Work
A great resource for freelancer theatre makers and a community to key into, Freelancers Make Theatre Work is a freelancer founded and led community for the 200,000+ self-employed and freelance workers from all areas of theatre, opera, dance and live performance, who make up over 70% of the UK theatre workforce. Their website has stacks of useful resources and is well worth checking out.

Jobs Go Public – (main portal for local government jobs, eg museums, libraries, other cultural jobs)
Civil Service Jobs – more creative sector facing roles than necessarily creative ones, but perhaps worth a look
jobs.ac.uk – university-based theatre jobs tend to come up on here
Arts Jobs – maintained by Arts Council England
Arts Jobs Online – independently collated advertising site
Arts Professional – often looking at more senior roles
Cultural Enterprises – Association for Cultural Enterprise jobs board
Disability Arts – have a great listings section for creatives who identify as disabled
Arts Hub – carries a lot of Australian listings, but also listings for the UK
Run the Check – (London-centric)
Creative Lives – a creative careers journal resource, which includes an opportunities listing page
Arts Emergency
Arts Emergency helps young people flourish in higher education and the cultural industries, currently working across London, Brighton, Greater Manchester and Merseyside but plenty of online opportunities too. Sign up and offer to mentor young people, or sign up for support yourself. There’s also a brilliant page of resources which are relevant to artists of all ages!
