Following the very sad news of the death Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Nottingham Playhouse expects to be closed to the public on the day of the State Funeral. In accordance with National Mourning Guidance, all performances prior to this will go ahead. We have opened a book of condolence for visitors to share messages of sympathy for the Royal Family and will, according to theatre custom, be dimming the lights of the theatre as a mark of respect.
