Taking Control showcases the creativity of young people aged 5 – 25 that engage in our 14 free to attend community hubs. Their performances this year are inspired by George Orwell’s Animal Farm, exploring themes of power, equality, kinship and hope.
Expect larger than life characters and authentic young Nottingham voices telling stories that matter to them.
We are really proud of the fantastic work our SHINE programme does across our county entirely free for participants, without which some would not have access to theatre or the arts at all.
