Secret Sides of Us is an exciting new musical about disabled lives in modern Britain.

For over a year disabled co-creators met at Nottingham Playhouse to discuss the barriers they faced and make this ground-breaking new show.

Secret Sides of Us will be performed as a workshop with a professional cast and a live band at Nottingham Playhouse on Saturday 13 September at 4pm and 7:45pm. Tickets to the dress rehearsal with the band at The University of Nottingham at 2:30pm on Friday 12 September can be requested on their website.

The Story

Serena hides her disability from her fans.

Theo is unseen and ignored because of his disability.

Tilly is relentlessly mocked because she thinks differently.

Secret Sides of Us tells the story of three disabled creatives who face ableism in their everyday lives. Using their creativity, and with help from a stoma wielding cabaret artist, they break down barriers and show the world just what they can do!
