Using some of Shakespeare’s most famous comic scenes and speeches, this is a great chance to learn how to demystify the characters and language of the world’s greatest playwright.
Who is the workshop for?
The course is suitable for anyone who is interested in playing and knowing more about Shakespeare, whether you are a beginner or more experienced.
If you have taken part in one of our Playing Shakespeare workshops previously, there will still be more to learn. This workshop will focus on the Shakespeare’s comic plays.
We believe that theatre should be for everyone and always ensure our building and sessions are accessible to all participants, removing any barriers to participation. Find out more about Access at Nottingham Playhouse here and please tell us if there is anything further we can do to ensure our sessions are accessible for you. You can get in touch at participation@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk.
Do I need to bring anything?
No need to bring anything, everything will be provided.
