Over the past month, the Playhouse Performer’s Ensemble have been capturing stories from their local communities, asking: What does ageing mean to you? Does it frighten or excite you? From over 25 recorded interviews, a headphone verbatim performance has been created to share these unique stories about growing up and growing old.

Headphone Verbatim theatre is an intimate storytelling method. The technique allows every idiosyncratic detail of the speaker’s voice to be shared by the performer.

Sit back and listen as these captivating interviews are performed – by the actors – as they listen simultaneously to the original recordings through headphones.
