Sing, dance and act your way to a spectacular performance this summer! 

Immerse yourself on the world of musical theatre with our musical summer school. You’ll learn from a professional director, musical director and choreographer as you work alongside fellow performers to rehearse and stage a complete musical performance. 

We’re offering two ways to get involved this year:  

Two week Course (Ages 11 – 18)

Monday 27 July to Friday 7 August (excluding Sun 2 Aug)  

The two week long intensive is for young people who love singing, dancing and acting and could see themselves performing on stage as part of the main cast where confidence and character will be key. Whilst everyone will have plenty to do in the show, we will be holding auditions prior to the start of this summer school, with the attendees of the two week course, to cast the principal characters. 

One Week Course (Ages 9 – 13)

Monday 3 August – Friday 7 August 

The one week programme is for young people who want to experience the fun of singing and dancing on the main stage as part of our chorus. There are no auditions for this option, just a love for all things performance! There will be lots for chorus members to do, as over the course of the week you will learn routines for numbers throughout the show and practise your acting skills in supporting roles, working alongside the principal characters to bring the show to life. 

 

 

Auditions for the two week course will take place on Saturday 11 July 2.30pm-4.30pm and Tuesday 21st July 5pm-7pm. Once you’re booked on, you will be contacted to confirm which date you would like to attend.

The performance will be in the evening on Friday 7 August. Tickets for the shows will be available to purchase closer to the performance date.
