John Cooper Clarke shot to prominence in the 1970s as the ‘people’s poet’ and became one of the most prolific artists of the Punk years.
Since then, his career has spanned cultures, audiences, art forms, and continents. Today he performs as a stand-up solo poet, and will do just that with new collection – I Wanna Be Yours. JCC goes into fascinating detail about his early life in Manchester leading to punk superstardom, drug addiction, and the title of major poet he enjoys today.
