An outstanding showcase from Inspire Youth Arts and chance to see The Mother of Tension Hip Hop dance theatre piece commissioned by the IWM 14-18 NOW Legacy Fund, featuring talented young dancers. Informed by resources from Nottinghamshire Archives, the piece explores themes of conflict and forms part of an extended programme with Xibit Young Creatives.
The showcase will also feature alt rockstars ALT BLK ERA, the first disabled-led orchestral project the Able Orchestra, award-winning inclusive dance company SANDance, Nottinghamshire Contemporary Youth Dance Company (NCYDC), and Burton Joyce Junior Dance Company.

The IWM 14-18 NOW Legacy Fund is a national partnership programme of 22 artist commissions inspired by the heritage of conflict. Led by Imperial War Museums (IWM), the IWM 14 – 18 NOW Legacy Fund was created following the success of 14-18 NOW, the official UK arts programme for the first World War Centenary.
