Whether you want to remember a loved one, celebrate a special occasion or wish to share your passion for live theatre, you can say it and show it with a seat dedication.
Dedicating a seat is just £300 (£240 for Playhouse Pass Premium Members) and your plaque will remain in place for ten years, working out at just £30 a year. If you would like your plaque to last even longer then you can purchase a plaque in perpetuity for £2,500, perfect for remembering a loved one.
Our standard commemorative plaques are in place for a decade. After 10 years we will contact you to ask if you would like to renew. If you choose to donate £2,500 for a permanent plaque, we will keep you informed of any changes to the auditorium (e.g. new seats) but rest assured that your dedication will remain in place and you will not be asked to renew.
How to Dedicate a Seat
- Click the Book Now button at the top of this webpage to purchase your seat.
- You will be given the choice of the seats we currently have available on our Seat Map. Select the seat you would like to dedicate and add to click continue.
- On the next page, you can choose whether to make a ten year dedication (£300) or a permanent dedication (£2,500).
- If you are a Playhouse Pass Premium member, please login to receive your discount.
- Before you check out, we require a few additional details from you including the dedication text and the name that should be included in our programmes and on our website.
- Once your payment has been confirmed, one of our lovely team will be in touch to confirm your seat dedication and let you know when the plaque will be put in place.
Gift Aid
Nottingham Playhouse is a registered charity (number 1109342). Gift Aid enables us to boost your donation by an additional 25% at no extra cost to you – helping us to make your gift go as far as possible. If you are eligible to declare Gift Aid, please tick at the checkout. By doing this you are agreeing to the following:
I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I want Nottingham Playhouse Trust to treat as Gift Aid donations all qualifying gifts of money made within 4 years of the date of this declaration and all future donations unless I notify them otherwise.

• All funds from your seat dedication will be donated to Nottingham Playhouse Trust (Charity No. 1109342), generating vital funds for our community work and world-class productions.
• You can choose to receive a commemorative certificate with your dedication, perfect for a gift or presentation, at no extra cost.
• Seat dedications are limited to around 100 characters (including spaces) on your plaque.
• Seats are subject to availability and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Dedicating a seat does not guarantee you the right to book this seat for performances.
• Dedications can be made on behalf of individuals or organisations.
