Monday 2 September – Mad Max
Summer might be over, but we’re still bringing the heat! Marvel as your hosts Jamie Drew and Lee Kennedy bring George Miller’s explosive world of Mad Max to life on the Club Wormhole stage. Car chases, stunts and ridiculous body paint – suspend your disbelief and prepare for an apocalyptic thrillride of a comedy night!
And our guests are just as spectacular: Ishi Khan and Helen Rice are joined by our headliners, the unfathomable Consignia! Keep your arms and legs inside the tanker at all times, and fill the sandy air with laughter. What a lovely day for alternative comedy!
Monday 7 October – Pirates!
This month, Club Wormhole’s many-flagged mast flies the Jolly Roger too; climb aboard for a voyage across the seven seas, for this month’s theme be Pirates! With hosts Ben and Rosa at the helm, look forward to pageantry, poetry and puns – not to mention audience participation galore. Can you help them find the buried treasure?
This month also marks Club Wormhole’s birthday! Joining us to celebrate our first year of shows are our three scurvy guests – Leslie Ewing Burgesse, R.S. Lewis, and headliner Josh Glanc! So sharpen your cutlass and climb the rigging – we’ll see you out on the waves!
