This event is exclusively for Amplify members and GOBS Collective

There’s an idiot in all of us. The inner five year old that loves to play and be watched and isn’t afraid of making mistakes. Who actually loves making mistakes, especially if it makes people laugh.

We’ll explore this endearing fool – this clown – the relationship between them, the characters they play and their audience. And we’ll play with ways we might sustain and invigorate these relationships to keep them continually brimming with life.

An organiser of this event is clinically vulnerable to COVID and will be attending in a mask; lateral flow tests will be provided to all on arrival, taking these will enable the organiser to participate in the session. Masks will also be provided to wear if you’re comfortable doing so.

If you need a BSL Interpreter to be present for the workshop, please email boxoffice@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk to let us know.

Workshops are free to attend but places must be booked in advance. There is a small travel bursary available to artists who require it – if this is you please email hello@bridiesquires.com to arrange.

We encourage all attendees to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible when attending this event.
