Silly and surreal comedy fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe.

Ben Macpherson’s Bonfire Man takes you on a journey to the blistering heat of the Nevada desert in the height of August, to the ephemeral city that exists for a week then vanishes into the sand. This is Bonfire Man, the infamous and ENTIRELY FICTIONAL festival. Any resemblance to an event in August, in the Nevada desert, with the initials B M, culminating in burning a large effigy, are entirely circumstantial.

In this mockumentary you can expect to meet bizarre characters like 6ft tall lizard and tech mogul Noel Salamander; Mr Whippy, a man driven by his twin loves of ice cream and the kink community; and Glouis Theroux, the world’s stickiest investigative journalist. Ben Macpherson’s Bonfire Man is a hilarious exploration of self expression, creative communities and the organisations that control them. It has been seen across the UK and had sellout performances at the Nottingham Comedy Festival.
