In 2018, in response to being diagnosed with incurable brain cancer, Phoebe created her one woman show The Glad Game, performed at Nottingham Playhouse House and Hampstead Theatre and subsequently made into a film. The Glad Game was Phoebe’s story of finding herself in the bleakest of times, of discovering gladness in the saddest of moments and about how what and who you love, can pull you through.
