Come, gather, chat, learn about Amplify, Nottingham Playhouse’s artist development programme and meet other artists from the region. Then, join us for our first night of Amplify SEASONS, featuring 3 performances: a work-in-progress double bill: FRENEMIES, and headliner: Lovett. All brand-new work by emerging Midlands creatives. You can see these 3 shows for just £18 (£20 for non-Amplify members). What better way to spend your Friday evening?!
Amplify at Nottingham Playhouse is an ever-evolving Artist Development programme supporting new, emerging and established theatre artists in the wider Midlands region. Following on from the success of our first event, Amplify Access Assembly: Deaf Artists Have Your Say, we are keen to continue connecting with Deaf Artists in the region and continue discussions around what more we can do to support you and your artistic practice.
The event will be co-hosted by Beccy D’Souza (Artist Development Producer at Nottingham Playhouse), Annis McGee (In Good Company) and Nikki Charlesworth (Agent for Change at Nottingham Playhouse), and will consist of:
• An introduction to Amplify
• Information on Artist Development opportunities across the region
• Q&A about artist development
• Networking time to talk to other artists
The BSL interpreters for this event will be Rebekah Cupit and Stacey Green.
