Thu 26 FebJoin us for our Meet-Up, before our BSL Interpreted performance of The Beekeeper of Aleppo.
Join us for our Deaf Community Meet-up, before our BSL Interpreted performance of The Beekeeper of Aleppo. This meetup is open for Deaf audience and artists alike!
Come, gather, chat, learn about Amplify, Nottingham Playhouse’s artist development programme and meet other artists & theatre lovers from the region. Then, join us for our BSL Interpreted performance of The Beekeeper of Aleppo.
Amplify at Nottingham Playhouse is an ever-evolving Artist Development programme supporting new, emerging and established theatre artists in the wider Midlands region. Following on from the success of our first Deaf meetups, we are keen to continue connecting with Deaf Artists and audience members in the region and continue discussions around what more we can do to support your artistic practice, as well as how we can make our work accessible to all.
The event will consist of:
- An introduction to what’s on at Nottingham Playhouse including: Amplify and Artist development, other activities you can get involved in and shows and events that are coming up.
- Q&A
- Time to talk and socialise
This event will be delivered in BSL and hosted by Nikki Charlesworth.
You do not need a ticket for this event. Just come along and enjoy the event. You do need a ticket if you wish to see the BSL interpreted show of The Beekeeper of Aleppo.
