Free workshop for local actors.

This practical workshop will focus on working on duologues. Adam will pair up attendees and select a duologue for them to work on during the session. The workshop will explore acting techniques and working with text.

This workshop is open to professional actors aged 18 and above, at any stage of their career. Attendees must be Amplify members or eligible to join Amplify (professional theatre makers, living in, from or with a strong connection to the Midlands region).

Please only apply if you are available on Thursday 9 April and are able to attend the masterclass in person at Nottingham Playhouse from 7 – 9pm.

Please note, this is a re-run of the Duologue Masterclass which we ran in October 2025 as we couldn’t accommodate everyone who wished to attend. Please don’t apply if you attended that Masterclass.

Applications are open until Monday 30 March at noon. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application on or before Thursday 2 April. Unfortunately, we will be unable to provide feedback to individual actors on their applications.
