A brand-new gig-theatre show, with scuzzy beats, stolen bags, and the reversal of the flow of time.

“There’s something about today. Something’s gonna happen. I don’t know what it is but everything feels a bit like it’s holding its breath.”

It’s just an ordinary day. At the beginning of the day, Fran is late for work. At the end of the day, Brendan is bleeding out in the street. It’s a day where time begins to flow forwards and spiral backwards for these two strangers. Music pulses. Beats blast. Fran progresses through the worst day of her life. Brendan rewinds through the last day of his life. Soon we’ll find out what has happened to him, and what will happen to her.

24, 23, 22 is the critically-acclaimed gig-play by the award-winning Chronic Insanity. With a cast of two armed with hand held mics and an onstage beat-maker, this little earthquake of a show will be hitting the stage at Nottingham Playhouse this October.
