Our Autumn term has begun but it is not too late to book onto these sessions. Call our Box Office on 0115 941 9419 to book your place.

Everyone is welcome to come along to these new relaxed art sessions which will have a strong focus on drawing.

Our experienced artists Jane Stockley and Elaine Winter will support and guide you through creative approaches and ways to improve your art skills and techniques and all specialist art materials will be covered by the cost of your ticket.

All sessions will be very friendly and you can have a coffee and cake too.

What will I learn during the autumn course?

You’ll learn or refresh your knowledge of fundamental drawing skills. You’ll get to practice and improve a range of drawing techniques over the weeks of the autumn programme. The course will also cover how to go about selecting subjects to draw, introduce different drawing media, and connect with the skills and techniques used by other artists.

Who is the course for?

Anyone aged 14+ who has an interest in drawing, art and learning about other artists.

Open to all who want to take time to improve their skills, from beginners to those with experience.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself – we’ll supply all materials.

Can I try it first?

Yes, we offer a taster session for those who would like to try before they buy (subject to availability). You can book for a taster session by emailing tickets@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk and one of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
