Club Encore In Conversation is currently taking place online and all information about how to take part will be emailed to bookers in advance of the sessions.

In addition to our usual in-person Club Encore sessions, these special online ‘In Conversation’ events will take place on Zoom and are a chance to meet members of the Nottingham Playhouse team, as well as fascinating industry professionals.

We believe that theatre should be for everyone and always ensure our building and sessions are accessible to all participants, removing any barriers to participation. Find out more about Access at Nottingham Playhouse here and please tell us if there is anything further we can do to ensure our sessions are accessible for you. You can get in touch at

Session Information

Tuesday 26 January – Jill Robertshaw
Jill is Assistant Production Manager at Nottingham Playhouse.
Ever wondered how we build the sets? How we set the budgets? How we work with other co-producing theatres? How did we make it rain in An Enemy of the People? Jill has many years experience and will be here to chat about how we make theatre the Nottingham Playhouse way.

Tuesday 23 February – Hollie Anderson
Hollie works as a vital member of the marketing department at Nottingham Playhouse. This is a great chance to hear all about how we sell shows, how we liaise with the media, how we use social media and how, in short, we engage with people who we hope will take part in what we do.

Tuesday 23 March – Rebecca D’Souza
Rebecca describes herself as an activist, feminist, actor, creative producer and mum. She was a member of the Freelance Task Force, set up in the wake of Covid19 pandemic, and has also recently understudied in the West End, as well as appearing in the Nottingham Playhouse productions of Kindertransport and Pride and Prejudice.
